Accessibility

Effective September 23, 2026.

The Grove Pickleball LLC wants everyone to be able to follow a league, enter a score, play Pick'em and run a league on this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use. This statement covers leagues.grovepickleball.com, including the league page, the team board, Grove Exchange and Pick'em, and the league software at /start.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We have not had the site formally audited, and we do not claim full conformance yet. It is the standard we build and fix against.

What we do

Pages can be zoomed and resized on phones and desktops; nothing blocks pinch-to-zoom.
Text is set in light colors on a dark background, and we check contrast as we design.
Buttons and controls carry labels for screen readers, and animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Standings, schedules and results are real text, not images.
There are no accounts, passwords or time-limited sign-ins to get through.

Known limitations

Video. Court livestreams and replay clips do not have captions or audio description. Scores for every match are also available as text on the league page.
Charts and live views. Some price charts and live scoreboards update frequently and may be hard to follow with a screen reader. If you need that information another way, ask and we will send it.
Embedded video players from YouTube and court streaming services are run by those companies, and their accessibility is outside our control.

Tell us about a problem

If something on the site is hard to use, email mo@grovepickleball.com with the subject "Accessibility". It helps to include:

the page or link where it happened;
what you were trying to do and what went wrong; and
your device, browser and any assistive technology you use (for example, VoiceOver on iPhone).

We aim to reply within five business days. If you need standings, a schedule or other league information in another format in the meantime, ask and we will send it.
